Advantages and disadvantages of three different manual soaps

According to the process flow of handmade soap, there are three types of handmade soap in the market: ① hot handmade soap;② cold handmade soap;③ Recycled soap.

1.Hot handmade soap

The soap made by the hot method is saponified in the fat and sodium hydroxide reaction to the thick stage,and then heated by intermittent way to make it saponified quickly.After demoulding,leave for a week to allow water to evaporate,and then use.
(1) Advantages
The production time of hot handmade soap is greatly shortened,the production efficiency is improved,the process is simple,and it meets the needs of large-scale social production.Strong bases are completely reactive,so you don't worry about free bases.The hand-made soap retains glycerin,which can relieve the irritation of the soap base,leaving the skin softer after washing.
(2) Disadvantages
In the production process of hand-made soap,some ingredients contained in oil that can nourish skin decompose and evaporate in heat,which reduces the skin care effect of hand-made soap.

2. Cold handmade soap

Cold preparation is in contrast to the hot solution method used for industrial soaps.Saponification reaction occurs after mixture of oil and sodium hydroxide solution.In addition to mixing before the solid oil heating dissolved into liquid,in the process of soap is not the need for high temperature heating.After the reaction is completed,the soap is put into the mold and allowed to dry naturally.After three to five weeks,the mold is released and used directly.
(1) Advantages
Because it does not need heat, the nutrient composition in maximum limit reserve vegetable oil, the glycerol that the saponification reaction generates will not be extracted, can reduce the excitant of soap base, wash feel soft embellish, clean, and relaxed.
(2) Disadvantages
The saponification time is long and the production speed is slow.The saponification reaction is not well controlled,which may leave free alkali and irritate the skin.High requirements for oil,oil quality control is not good,oil containing impurities may stimulate the skin,leading to skin allergy.

3. Recycled soap

Recycled soap is also known as abrasive soap,which is the reprocessing and optimization of cold soap.The cold soap after demoulding is shaved into silk,adding additives(milk,scented tea,etc.),heating,so that the soap wire from solid to liquid,and then resolidified to obtain abrasive soap.Ground soaps are great for making soaps that add other nutrients later in life.
There is another kind of melting regenerated soap,using the pure soap base purchased on the market,heating to melt it,adding pigment,essence,into the mold production.The process of melting repreparation is relatively simple and suitable for manual soap teaching.But the clear soap base contains chemicals that make the soap melt again and again,and glycerin,a by-product of the soap base production process,has been removed,so the melt-remade soap is less natural.
(1) Advantages
The handmade soap produced in this form is no worse than the handmade soap if the purity of the soap embryo is high,the compound composition is strong,the formula is proper,and the production process is qualified.
(2) Disadvantages
Low requirements for equipment,simple production,low technical threshold.Because manual soap does not belong to cosmetics,the state does not require the publication of the full composition,leaving some businesses with space to operate,the outer packaging composition table is not necessarily true.
